Tenerife Libby’s La Laguna Signs Libero Eliana González for 2026/2027 Season

Tenerife Libby’s La Laguna has officially signed libero Eliana González for the 2026/2027 season. This move is designed to bolster the team’s defense by bringing in a player with extensive experience in Spain’s top-tier volleyball league.

Born in Uruguay in 1997 and raised in Spain, González joins the team after spending the last three seasons with Kiele Socuéllamos. Her professional background includes stints at several Superliga clubs, such as Arenal Emevé, CAV Esquimo Dos Hermanas, Vóley Murcia, and Haro Rioja Vóley. She also enjoyed a highly successful period with Naturhouse Ciudad de Logroño, where she won the League, the Queen's Cup, and the Supercup—experience that will be vital to Tenerife’s goals for the coming season.

González is the fourth new signing for the team, following Celeste Vela, Carla Jiménez, and Sullie Sundara. They join returning players Yeisy Soto and Alli Cudworth to create a squad that balances veteran leadership with fresh talent.
