Tenerife Libby’s La Laguna has begun shaping its roster for the 2026/27 season with a major international signing. According to local reports, the club has signed Finnish opposite hitter Neea-Maria Joki to replace Emily Zinger and add more offensive firepower to Ricardo Lemos’s squad.

At 21 years old and 1.85 meters tall, Joki is a promising talent with experience in competitive leagues. She recently helped Neptunes Nantes secure a league and cup double in France. Her background includes playing in the U.S. collegiate system at Clemson and Utah, as well as competing as a full international under coach André Sá. She is expected to be a vital player for the team’s domestic campaign and their upcoming run in the CEV Challenge Cup.

The management has significantly reshaped the roster, confirming the departures of Camila Olguín, Itziar López, Quinn Pelland, Nada Essaiadi, Darina Kumanova, and Carolina Camino. Additionally, libero Marga Pizá has left the club after three years.
