American outside hitter Alli Cudworth has joined Tenerife Libby's La Laguna for the remainder of the season, aiming to boost the team's performance in Spain's Liga Iberdrola.

Tenerife Libby's La Laguna announced yesterday that American outside hitter Alli Cudworth will join the team for the rest of the season. Cudworth is an experienced player who has been a key part of every club she's represented. She arrives in La Laguna hoping to boost the team's performance in the second half of the competition. This will also be her first time playing in Spain's top league, the Liga Iberdrola. Before this move, she spent the first half of the season playing for Ilisiakós in Greece and is now facing this new challenge with excitement and ambition.

In her first interview with the club's official media, Cudworth described her signing as "a very positive step forward in my career." She added, "I am very happy to join Tenerife Libby's La Laguna, and I believe we have a great opportunity to achieve something special. This team, without a doubt, will achieve its goals."

Currently, the La Laguna team is in eleventh place in the standings. This is a difficult spot for a club known for its national prestige and strong squad. Cudworth acknowledged this, saying, "These are things that can happen in professional sports. This situation is also a nice challenge." She added that she enjoys "challenges" and believes her experience can "contribute a lot in this second half of the season." She concluded, "I am ready to help the team with whatever they need."

Finally, Cudworth had a message for the fans at Pablos Abril, emphasizing how important their support will be during this crucial part of the season. She said, "I ask the fans to remain calm. I've been told that home games are very exciting, that volleyball is experienced intensely in the arena, and that this creates extra pressure on opponents. We are going to need them a lot at the end of this season. We will try to give them the greatest possible joys."

Alli Cudworth started her career at Ashland University in the United States. In 2018, she moved abroad to play in Cyprus, spending four seasons with Olympiada Neapolis VB. After that, she played in Greece for ZAON Kifisiás and then Protathlites Pefkon. Her international experience also includes playing for Nakhon Ratchasima Qmin in Thailand and Sm’Aesch Pfeffingen in Switzerland. Most recently, before joining Tenerife Libby's La Laguna, she played for Ilisiakós, also in Greece.
