Tenerife Forecasts Stable Weather, Rising Temperatures

Source: El Día

Tenerife anticipates generally stable weather on Tuesday with mostly clear skies, though northern areas will experience patchy clouds clearing by midday, accompanied by a slight temperature rise and light to moderate northeast winds.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) predicts generally stable weather for Tenerife this Tuesday, though with some local variations, especially on the northern side due to trade winds.

Most of the island will see clear or mostly clear skies. However, the northern parts, particularly the northeast below 1,000 to 1,200 meters, will have some patchy clouds. These clouds, typical of the "sea of clouds" effect caused by northeast winds, should mostly clear up by midday, leaving plenty of sunshine.

Temperatures will rise slightly, particularly the overnight lows in inland areas. In the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, temperatures are expected to be between 17 and 23 degrees Celsius.

Winds will mainly blow from the northeast, generally light and influenced by sea breezes. However, they will be moderate in the low-lying areas of the southeast, east, and far northwest. On the highest parts of Teide, moderate northerly winds are expected, which is important for mountain activities and air travel.
