Tegueste to Host Charity Theater Performance for Venezuela Earthquake Victims

The Tegueste City Council’s Department of Culture is hosting a charity event to support victims of the earthquake that struck Venezuela on June 24. The fundraiser will take place on July 31 at 8:30 p.m. at the Príncipe Felipe Theater.
The event features a performance of Sacrilegio, an original play by Leonardo Abreu starring Elizabeth Morales, Verónica Núñez, and María Laura Marrero. The comedy follows a conflict within a convent, where two nuns, Sister Jazmín and Sister Violeta, clash with their strict superior. The story humorously explores the tension between religious discipline and the nuns' personal interests, specifically their fascination with a nearby sports training center.
