Tegueste Announces All Souls' Day Community Events and Heritage Installations
Tegueste will host a community-focused All Souls' Day celebration on October 30th, featuring a themed installation at Casa Prebendado Pacheco, film screenings, and workshops designed to revitalize the town’s historic center.
Tegueste is gearing up for a community-focused event that goes beyond a typical celebration. Local officials have announced a series of activities for October 30th, designed to bring residents together in the town’s historic center to mark the All Souls' Day season.
The highlight of the event is a themed, "spooky" installation at the Casa Prebendado Pacheco. Open from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., this attraction is part of a municipal strategy supported by the Cabildo de Tenerife. The project aims to meet the demand for seasonal entertainment while breathing new life into local heritage sites by turning them into gathering spots for all ages.
The program also includes a variety of other activities. Visitors can enjoy film screenings in the Plaza de San Marcos, as well as creative workshops and makeup sessions held in front of the Town Hall. Coordinated by the Youth and Local Development departments, these events are designed to offer something for everyone, encouraging families and young people to spend time together.
During the official launch, Mayor Norberto Padilla, joined by Councilor Elena Perdomo and Island Councilor Serafín Mesa, explained that the goal is to create spaces that strengthen the local community. By blending traditional All Souls' Day themes with modern entertainment, the town hopes to boost social engagement while supporting local businesses and the service sector in the town center.
