Teatro Leal to Host 'Choni Mix Canarias' Celebrating Local Experimental Performance Art

The Canary Islands’ cultural scene is gearing up for an event that goes beyond a standard concert to explore the intersection of different artistic forms. According to LAV-Canarias, the Teatro Leal will soon host Choni Mix Canarias. Part of the Danza en Breve series, the event aims to showcase local female talent by blending music, movement, and performance art.
This gathering serves as both a platform for emerging creators and a celebration of unique, non-mainstream identities. The program focuses on experimental performance and features contributions from Cristina Mahelo, Kinewa, Ninf.A, Kaly Ninmah, and Sara Ibala. Designed to blur the lines between a musical show and a performance piece, the event will be hosted by actress Nathy de la Cruz, with DJ sets by Perra Beata and Dadi Damas providing the soundtrack.
