Tacoronte Hosts Third Annual Beer Festival at New Municipal Market Venue
The town of Tacoronte is hosting its third annual beer festival this Saturday, August 8th, at the La Estación Municipal Market square, featuring live music, diverse food options, and family activities.
Canary Island towns are increasingly using local events to bring communities together, and this Saturday, August 8th, Tacoronte is hosting its third annual beer festival. The event promises a full day of food, live music, and family-friendly activities.
The festival will run from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This year, organizers have moved the celebration to the La Estación Municipal Market square. The change was necessary because ongoing infrastructure improvements along the Mesa del Mar coastline have made the usual venue unavailable for safety reasons.
Despite the new location, the Mesa del Mar 2026 Festival Committee is ensuring the event keeps its signature feel. Attendees can enjoy a wide variety of beers, along with a diverse food menu featuring everything from traditional skewers and Venezuelan dishes to artisanal pastries. For children, there will be a dedicated play area with bouncy castles and face painting.
Music will be a highlight of the day, starting at 3:00 PM with DJ Airam Afonso. The band Primera Marcha will perform live at 6:00 PM, and DJ Yera Waque will close out the evening starting at 8:15 PM. Admission to the festival is free.
