The Tacoronte-El Sauzal Health Center Users' Association has proposed design modifications to the facility's expansion to improve construction efficiency, patient accessibility, and emergency logistics.

The redesign of the Tacoronte-El Sauzal Health Center expansion offers a chance to improve local healthcare facilities. The local Users' Association has submitted several technical recommendations to authorities, aiming to make the center more efficient and improve the experience for patients.

The group’s main proposal to the Canary Islands Health Service suggests moving the planned construction to the right side of the building, near the current parking ramp, rather than building on the main facade. Proponents argue this would speed up construction by avoiding the complexities of working near the Carretera General del Norte. It would also clear the front of the building, allowing for a dedicated drop-off and pick-up zone while protecting existing parking spaces for people with reduced mobility.

Additionally, the association has asked the Tacoronte City Council to improve emergency logistics by creating a direct exit from the new wing to the rear parking lot. This would allow medical transport to avoid unnecessary detours, bypass technical installations like manholes, and steer clear of temporary parking areas. The association believes this change would make emergency trips both safer and faster.

These community suggestions are vital at a time when efficient public services and accessibility are top priorities. Incorporating this feedback now could significantly improve the quality of healthcare for residents in Tacoronte and El Sauzal for years to come.
