Susana Medina Crowned Miss Universe Spain 2026

Susana Medina, representing Las Palmas, has been crowned Miss Universe Spain 2026. Her selection was announced at a gala held at the Costa Martiánez Tourist Complex in Puerto de la Cruz.

Medina was chosen from seventeen contestants representing various regions across Spain. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Puerto de la Cruz, Leopoldo Afonso, and the head of the Spanish organization, Lina Poffet.

This appointment marks the start of Medina’s preparation for the international pageant, which will take place in Puerto Rico this November. Modern beauty pageants have evolved significantly over the last decade; today, they serve as professional platforms where contestants are judged not only on their appearance, but also on their communication skills and ability to represent a brand. With the selection process now complete, the organization is shifting its focus to the training and logistics required for the upcoming global competition.
