Consumer "Sunday" vouchers launched in Santa Cruz de Tenerife: how to get a discount on purchases.
In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, "Sunday" consumer bonds have been launched, allowing the purchase of goods at a reduced price on weekends, stimulating the local economy.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife is launching a cool thing – "Sunday" consumer vouchers! This is to make sure that the tourist center of the city is bustling with life on weekends and everyone is actively shopping.
How does it work? Each voucher costs 25 euros, but you only pay 10, and the city council pays the remaining 15. A total of 10,000 such vouchers will be issued, which means that 250,000 euros will be "injected" into the city's economy.
Where to get the vouchers? They can be purchased online at www.bonoconsumosantacruz.com. Sales open every Friday at 10:00 AM and last until 12:00 PM on Sunday. The voucher can only be used on the Sunday you purchased it, and only in stores that participate in the promotion. The list of stores will be published weekly on the same website.
When will all this be? The promotion will run from October 5 to November 9. You can buy vouchers on October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and November 7 (on Friday), and spend them on October 5, 12, 19, 26, and November 2 and 9 (on Sunday). Each person can buy a maximum of 6 vouchers for the entire duration of the promotion, but no more than 2 per Sunday. Vouchers cannot be transferred to others or used by several people for one purchase.
There are also conditions for stores: each establishment can "turn over" a maximum of 1,000 euros per Sunday, and if you participate in all six Sundays, you can earn up to 6,000 euros. If your store wants to join the promotion, write to bonoconsumosc@fauca.org.
By the way, the promotion takes place simultaneously with various city events. October 5 – Plenilunio, October 12 – European Triathlon Cup, visit of the Virgin of Candelaria and the Infantas de España regatta, October 19 – Rally of the island of Tenerife and laying flowers to the Virgin, October 26 – farewell events with the image of the Virgin, and November 9 – Tenerife Classic Race. Plus, on these Sundays, the tourist bus will be free for local residents from 4:00 PM, and there will also be various treats as part of the Degusta Santa Cruz program.
