Summer Pop Tenerife Festival to Launch in September
The new Summer Pop Tenerife festival will debut at the Santa Cruz Exhibition Centre on September 13th, featuring headliners Álvaro de Luna and Leire to boost the region's live music scene.
The Canary Islands’ entertainment scene is getting a boost this year with the launch of a new festival, Summer Pop Tenerife. Organizers Encaro Factory announced that the event will bring a large-scale concert experience to the city’s Exhibition Centre on September 13th, mirroring the format of major music festivals across Spain.
The goal is to establish Santa Cruz as a key stop for top-tier touring artists. The first acts announced are Álvaro de Luna and Leire, both of whom are currently dominating national radio and streaming charts. Organizers say this is just the beginning, with more local and international artists set to be added to the lineup soon.
This event reflects a growing trend in Spain, where hosting major concerts outside of traditional hubs has become a vital way to boost local tourism and the economy. By combining live music with the use of public spaces, the industry hopes to drive further growth in the region. Tickets are now available through the Encaro Factory website and the Tomaticket portal.
