Sumergible Launches 'Efecto Laguna' Series with Live Album Debut
Spanish pop-rock's "best-kept secret," Sumergible, will launch the 'Efecto Laguna' series and debut their first live album at the Leal Theater's Chamber Hall on Thursday, February 5.
On Thursday, February 5, the Leal Theater's Chamber Hall will host Sumergible, a band known for their unique and surprising alternative sound. This concert marks the start of the 'Efecto Laguna' series. Though not widely known, Sumergible is considered one of the best-kept secrets in Spanish pop-rock, and they're bringing their intense, emotional, and detailed live show to La Laguna.
At the concert, the band will also introduce their fourth album. This is their first live album, following three studio records produced by Manuel Colmenero (who has worked with Vetusta Morla and Shinova). Their music explores themes of confusion, fragmentation, and modern-day exhaustion. Live, these themes create a vast and immersive experience, with moments of deliberate disorientation that build into powerful musical climaxes.
This first concert of the 'Efecto Laguna' series aims to showcase how alternative music from the Canary Islands can stand shoulder-to-shoulder in artistry and sound quality with any music scene in Spain. Sumergible is ready to prove why their name is gaining traction among those seeking more than just a regular concert: they offer an experience that is challenging, beautiful, and deeply modern.
