Subscription sales for the 43rd Canary Islands International Music Festival (FIMC) are now open. This is a great opportunity for music lovers to secure their seats for the festival’s most anticipated performances. You can purchase subscriptions online or in person at the festival’s administrative offices in Gran Canaria and Tenerife until November 20.
Buying a subscription is more cost-effective than purchasing individual tickets. The festival offers two thematic blocks of four concerts each, which can be combined for a full eight-concert package at a significant discount. Prices range from 85 to 395 euros, depending on the seating category and package. To support younger audiences, the festival also offers reduced rates for those under 30, with prices between 48 and 204 euros.
This year’s lineup features world-class talent, including the Chamber Orchestra of Europe led by Robin Ticciati and the Vienna Symphony with violinist María Dueñas. Other highlights include performances by the Tenerife Symphony, the Gran Canaria Philharmonic, the London Philharmonic with Javier Perianes, soprano Nadine Sierra with the Royal Opera Orchestra of Versailles, and the Royal Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, conducted by Klaus Mäkelä.
To purchase your subscription in person, visit the festival offices on Calle León y Castillo in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria or Calle Imeldo Serís in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is recommended that you book an appointment in advance. General ticket sales for individual concerts will begin on December 16.
The festival is also offering subscription packages for La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura. These bundles will include three to four concerts with discounts of up to 25% compared to individual ticket prices. Details for these island-specific packages will be announced in the coming weeks.
The festival will run from January 9 to February 4, featuring 56 concerts across the archipelago, remaining a highlight of the Spanish winter cultural calendar.
