The Piña Millo Fest (PMF’26), a charity event organized by IES La Guancha-JMB students as their final project, will feature Renzzo El Selector, Agua del Chorro, and Corinto Band next Sunday, February 1, at 6:00 PM at the El Sauzal Theater, with all proceeds benefiting Visión Azul Autismo.

The Piña Millo Fest (PMF’26) is set to take place next Sunday, February 1, at 6:00 PM, at the El Sauzal Theater. This charity festival, an original idea from students at IES La Guancha-Jerónimo Morales Barroso, will feature nine artists, bands, and DJs. Headlining the event are Renzzo El Selector, Agua del Chorro, and Corinto Band. The festival is organized by students from the advanced vocational training courses in Production, Sound, Direction, and Lighting.

The lineup also includes popular emerging artists like Yumey, Mandy Hernández, and Chris Noa, who won the 'La Caja de Cristal' young talent competition. Other performers are Luzmi, Lora La Fajana, and DJ Craux, who is a Lighting student and a graduate of the VideoDJ and Sound course at IES La Guancha-JMB. TVE Canarias journalist Helena Sampedro will host the event.

Tickets are available now on the theater's website for five euros. All proceeds will go directly to Visión Azul Autismo. The artists are performing for free to support both the charity and the students of IES La Guancha-JMB.

Doors open at 5:30 PM. Outside the theater, Autobar Caravica will be selling food and drinks, also donating a portion of their sales to the charity. Please note that only drinks served in cups will be allowed inside the venue; glass bottles, cans, and outside food are not permitted. The organizers explain that this policy allows attendees to enjoy their drinks during the festival while also ensuring the safety and upkeep of the venue, which the El Sauzal City Council has generously provided.

This festival is the final project for second-year students of the advanced Image and Sound courses. It receives technical and logistical support from Espectáculos Tenerife and the El Sauzal City Council. Both organizations have generously provided staff, equipment, and facilities to help put on this event, which aims to welcome 700 people to the northern theater.

Rubén Gallo, the director of IES La Guancha-Jerónimo Morales Barroso, praised the hard work of the students and teachers from the Image and Sound vocational training courses. They have been preparing the festival for months as part of a challenging project-based learning experience. He noted that many students are, for the first time, handling the production, sound engineering, lighting, and direction for a live show of this scale.

Gallo added, "They are doing it with great professionalism, which proves that the vocational training at our center remains a top standard on the island of Tenerife." He also thanked the El Sauzal City Council and Espectáculos Tenerife for their involvement.

Mariano Pérez, the mayor of El Sauzal, personally congratulated the Image and Sound students at the festival venue for their efforts in getting everything ready for Sunday. Mayor Pérez stated, "When the institute reached out, I immediately agreed to let the El Sauzal Theater host the festival. It's for a great cause, both charitable and educational, allowing young people from IES La Guancha-JMB to put their skills into practice in a high-quality venue like ours." He emphasized that the theater was renovated just six years ago and offers excellent sound, lighting, and services, making it perfect for events like the Piña Millo Fest. "We are delighted to host it," he added.

The Piña Millo Fest also receives support from other public and private organizations, including the La Guancha City Council, where the educational center is located.
