Stable Weather Forecast for Canary Islands This Friday

The Canary Islands will see stable weather again this Friday, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). Influenced by the trade winds, temperatures will remain steady, ranging between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius across the archipelago.

In Tenerife, the weather will vary depending on the area. The north can expect low clouds at altitudes between 900 and 1,100 meters, though these should clear up by the afternoon. Other parts of the island will see a mix of sun and clouds, while the highest peaks will remain clear with only a few high clouds. Winds will generally be light from the north, picking up slightly in the east and northwest, with typical breezes along the west coast.

Across the rest of the Canary Islands, the forecast is similar. Cloud cover will mostly affect the northern slopes of mountainous areas and Lanzarote, while the rest of the islands will enjoy clear skies with some high clouds. Northeasterly winds will persist, blowing strongest on the eastern islands and the southeastern and northwestern slopes of the others.

This pattern is typical for the region, where the interaction between the Azores High and the islands' volcanic terrain keeps temperatures mild. With no extreme weather expected, it will be a calm day across the archipelago.
