On Tenerife, a car with a family veered off the road near the Garachico tunnel, but no one was seriously injured, causing a major traffic jam.
On Friday, September 12, a serious car accident occurred in Tenerife. A car flew off the road right near the entrance to the Garachico tunnel. It happened before the eyes of other drivers who were passing by.
Eyewitnesses say that the car was traveling towards Garachico and suddenly fell from the slope towards the banana plantations. Fortunately, the buildings nearby were not damaged.
There was a family in the car – two adults and a child. Surprisingly, no one was seriously injured, although at first it seemed that everything was much worse.
It all happened during the day. The photos show that rescuers quickly arrived at the scene of the accident: firefighters, ambulance and civil guard.
