Spain’s "Fiesta del Cine" returns from October 19 to 22, offering nationwide cinema tickets at a discounted rate of 3.50 euros to boost theater attendance.

Spain’s film industry is launching its latest campaign to get audiences back into theaters. The "Fiesta del Cine" (Film Festival) returns from Monday, October 19, to Thursday, October 22, offering tickets to current movies for a flat rate of 3.50 euros.

The event is nationwide, with over 330 cinema complexes participating, including those in the Canary Islands. This year, the process is simpler than ever: there is no need to register or apply for accreditation. Tickets go on sale starting October 14 and can be purchased online through cinema websites or directly at the box office.

This initiative aims to encourage moviegoers to return to theaters following recent fluctuations in ticket sales. While the 3.50-euro price applies to most general screenings, please note that some theaters may charge extra for premium experiences, such as 3D, IMAX, iSENSE, D-BOX, Screen X, XL technology, or VIP seating. This promotion cannot be combined with other discounts, though 18-year-olds may use their Youth Cultural Bonus to cover the cost.

The offer applies to a wide range of films currently in theaters, including La Odisea, El ser querido, La isla olvidada, La bola negra, Digger, El precio de la red, Ceniza en la boca, NAZA, La invitación, and Clayface. Because showtimes and film availability vary by location, it is recommended that you check your local cinema's schedule before booking.
