
Sold-Out "I Love Reggaeton" Festival Kicks Off in Tenerife, Eyes Global Stage
The "I Love Reggaeton" festival, which recently featured founding artists in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is expanding with sold-out national tours and a new international leg planned for 2026.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife hosted its much-awaited "I Love Reggaeton" event this Friday night. The crowd enjoyed live performances from some of the genre's founding artists, including big names like Omega, Fuego, and Fulanito.
Attendees danced non-stop to catchy tunes from Lorna, Danny Romero, and Carlitos Rossy. DJs Dame más Gasolina kept the party going during sets by other artists on the lineup.
Tenerife also enjoyed music from El Chuape, Xriz, Dixson Waz, and José De Rico. Dr Bellido, Pilson, and Clase A also lit up the night. All these acts showed that classic reggaeton is far from forgotten.
The festival's 2025 national tour will conclude in Gran Canaria on Friday, November 14.

It features the genre's founders and biggest stars, all presented with a fully synchronized show and advanced technology. Reggaeton first exploded onto the Spanish music scene in 2004, quickly becoming a global mainstream sound. The "I Love Reggaeton" show celebrates the most iconic songs from 2005 to 2015.

For 2025, "I Love Reggaeton" has nine dates planned across Spain from May to November, and all tickets have already sold out for every show.
Due to its growing popularity, the festival is expanding in 2026. It will continue its national tour and also launch an international tour across Latin America. So far, two dates in Mexico and one in Chile have been announced for late March.
