Sheep, a football field, and canceled training – what do they have in common? Well, here's what: today in the town of Tegueste in Tenerife, children had to miss their занятия on the football field.
Why? Because sheep had wandered in and, let's just say, left "traces" behind. The management of the CDA FB Tegueste football club informed parents that training sessions were canceled to ensure the field was safe and clean for the children.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, the field will be closed today, September 9th," the message stated. It turns out the sheep had been roaming there all weekend and on the public holiday Monday. Therefore, to ensure the children can play safely, everything needs to be thoroughly cleaned.
The local authorities have already started cleaning, so training will resume as normal tomorrow.
