TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes concludes the 'Óscar Domínguez, gráfico' exhibition this Sunday, offering a final chance to explore the surrealist artist's important graphic work with a day of talks and a guided tour.

This Sunday marks the final day of the 'Óscar Domínguez, gráfico' exhibition at TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes. It's a chance to explore a lesser-known side of the surrealist artist: his illustrations and engravings. This focus is key to understanding his full career, which went beyond painting to include creating objects and a large body of graphic work. This work was very important in the European avant-garde movement.

The cultural center says the closing day, curated by Jorge Rodríguez de Rivera and Isidro Hernández, will be an intellectual journey. It will explore how images and words connected throughout Domínguez's career. The program starts at 12:00 PM with French poet and essayist Christophe Dauphin. He will discuss 'The Poetic Trajectory of Paul Éluard,' looking at the strong connection between Domínguez and the French poet.

The afternoon continues with two talks from the curators. At 4:30 PM, Jorge Rodríguez de Rivera will present 'The Graphic Work of Óscar Domínguez.' Then, at 5:30 PM, Isidro Hernández Gutiérrez will talk about 'Notes on Óscar Domínguez's Drawing: The Illustrated Books,' emphasizing how important his work in this format was. The day ends at 7:00 PM with a guided tour of the exhibition, followed by the official closing ceremony. This gives the public one last chance to see the artworks.

The exhibition has focused on the graphic work of Óscar Domínguez (born in Tenerife in 1906, died in Paris in 1957). This work includes limited series of original pieces made by reproducing a matrix. This highlights the experimental and reproducible nature of a key part of his artistic legacy.
