Andalusian rock-folk band Saurom, with nearly 30 years in music, brings its acclaimed "El Principito Tour" to La Laguna's Aguere Espacio Cultural on February 28th.

Andalusian band Saurom, known for their rock-folk sound and nearly 30 years in music, will play in La Laguna this month. The concert is set for February 28th at 8:30 PM at the Aguere Espacio Cultural. This show is part of their big "El Principito Tour," an international journey that highlights how well-established the band has become.

Saurom's latest album, released in 2025, is based on Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's famous novel, "El Principito" (The Little Prince). This concept has helped them go beyond typical genre limits. The album and its theme have been very successful, with sold-out concerts at major venues like Madrid's Movistar Arena (over 8,000 fans) and Arena Ciudad de México (over 10,000 fans). The tour will continue until the end of 2026, visiting more than twenty countries and proving the band's worldwide popularity.

Founded on September 1, 1996, by Narci Lara and Antonio Ruiz, Saurom has been making music for nearly three decades. They've developed a unique sound, blending rock with folk, Celtic, traditional music, and metal. Their songs often take inspiration from literature, including legends, poems, romances, and folk tales. Over the years, they've released albums like "Música" (2020), "El Pájaro Fantasma" (2023), and "Mester de Juglaría." In 2022, they celebrated their 25th anniversary with a special quadruple album. This album featured over sixty tribute bands, including well-known acts like Medina Azahara, Mago de Oz, and Sweden's Therion.

Saurom has completed more than twenty tours in Spain and fourteen across the Americas, visiting countries like Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and the United States. They are also regulars at major Spanish festivals such as Viña Rock, Leyendas del Rock, Lorca Rock, Rock Imperium, and Rock Fest Barcelona, as well as events in Portugal, Italy, and other parts of America. The current members of Saurom are: Miguel Ángel Franco (vocals and backing vocals), Antonio Ruiz (drums), Raúl Rueda (lead guitar, acoustic guitar, mandolin, banjo), José A. Gallardo (bass), Santi Carrasco (keyboards, whistles, accordion, backing vocals), and Narci Lara (guitars, backing vocals, bagpipes, violin, ocarina, whistles, transverse flute).

For their show in La Laguna, Saurom will be joined by guest band Hybris. Doors at Aguere Espacio Cultural will open at 7:30 PM. Tickets cost 27 euros if bought in advance and 32 euros on the day of the concert. You can buy them on the band's official website or at the box office.
