Santiago del Teide Announces Tamaimo Saint Anne Festivities Schedule

Santiago del Teide has announced the schedule for the upcoming festivities in honor of Saint Anne in Tamaimo, running from July 25 to August 2, 2026. These celebrations are a vital part of the town’s social and economic life, blending religious traditions with a variety of cultural and entertainment events.

The musical highlight of the week is a performance by Rosario Flores, who will headline the main gala on Sunday, July 26, at 9:30 p.m. Comedy fans can look forward to a show on Thursday, July 30, featuring comedian JJ Vaquero and the Imprudentes Teatro company.

The festivities begin on Saturday, July 25, with bell ringing and a parade by Tamatimba and the 101 Brass Band. The evening will conclude with an open-air dance featuring Ni 1 Pelo de Tonto, the Sabrosa orchestra, Guaracha, and Arodi Llanos. Sunday, July 26, serves as the main day of the celebration, featuring a mass led by Bishop Eloy Santiago, followed by processions accompanied by the Santiago del Teide Municipal Band and the La Esperanza de La Guancha Musical Group.

The program also includes a wide range of activities, such as futsal, envite, and domino tournaments, alongside folk performances, children's events, and theater. On Friday, July 31, the "Tamaimero Open-Air Dance" will feature performances by Maquinaria Band, Henry Méndez, Maraury Band, and Yet Garbey. The celebrations conclude on August 2 with the second annual Tamaimo Swimming Crossing, a music festival featuring Jeita, Miriam Reyes, and Kiko Ruiz, and a final dance evening with Luis Deseda.
