Santa Úrsula has launched a one-million-euro renovation of Mencey Bencomo Park, transforming the site into an inclusive, modern recreational hub featuring new sports facilities and improved accessibility for all residents.
The renovation of Mencey Bencomo Park in Santa Úrsula marks a significant shift in how the municipality manages its public spaces. With a budget of over one million euros, the project aims to fix the park's current wear and tear while completely redesigning it to better serve the community.
The new design focuses on creating a space for all ages. It includes new sports facilities, such as a calisthenics area and a skating rink. The rink was developed in collaboration with the Canary Islands Skate Committee to ensure it meets safety and performance standards for both beginners and experienced skaters.
