Santa Cruz de Tenerife will build a modern pump track for €1.75 million.

A cool pump track will appear in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the Los Gladiolos area! It will be a place where you can ride roller skates, skateboards, bikes, or scooters. And, of course, there will be green areas, shade, and places to relax.

The city council has already approved the construction of this pump track on the sports ground. The project will cost almost 1.75 million euros and will take a year to complete. The money is provided by the Government of the Canary Islands and the Cabildo de Tenerife.

The mayor of the city, José Manuel Bermúdez, says that this will be the first such place in the city where you can actively relax. It will be a modern sports infrastructure, a meeting place, recreation, and a healthy lifestyle.

The Councilor for Sports, Alicia Cebrián, is also very happy about this project. She says that this will be the first sports ground for roller skating and skateboarding, which will also be suitable for bicycles and scooters. There will be recreation areas, green spaces, and shaded areas.

The site will have three zones for different sports: skateboarding, BMX, roller skating, and scooters. There will also be a BMX and pump track area.

In addition, there will be 3×3 basketball courts, toilets, offices, and a warehouse. There will also be an area for beginners with a pump track and an outdoor gym. All age groups will be able to practice there! There will also be an open roller skating track.

Cebrián added that it will be a cool place for urban wheeled sports. Instead of ordinary playgrounds, there will be an inclusive, diverse, and attractive space for children, youth, and adults. It will be a great addition to La Granja Park or Anaga Avenue.

Local sports clubs will be able to train and compete there. And to make sure everything is in order, there will be staff to open and close the site.

The pump track will be located next to the Los Gladiolos sports grounds, which will make this area even better for sports.
