Santa Cruz de Tenerife is updating its public transport services to better meet the needs of residents in the Southwest district. The City Council has approved changes to the schedules and frequencies of Titsa bus lines 933, 935, and 944. These improvements, requested by Southwest councilor Javier Rivero and managed by the Mobility department under councilor Evelyn Alonso, will cost an additional 92,741.54 euros annually.
The new schedules will begin tomorrow, Monday, November 10.
Here's a breakdown of the changes:

Line 933 (Taco-Plaza San Jerónimo-El Molino-Bco. Grande-Portada del Duque-El Chorrillo-Cruce del Tablero-CEIP El Tablero): Services in both directions will start earlier, with three new round trips added. The bus frequency will improve in the afternoons, and the service will run later into the evening.

Line 935 (Intercambiador-Autopista del Sur-TF-1-Santa María del Mar-Oficinas de TITSA-Urbanización Añaza): A new late-night service will be introduced, passing through Acorán. This bus will depart from the Interchange at 00:05, reaching Santa María at 00:25. This will be the last journey from the Interchange.

Line 944 (El Tablero-CEIP El Tablero-Cruce El Tablero-Cruce La Gallega-La Gallega-Gallega Alta-Avda. Los Majuelos-Avda. Las Hespérides-El Cedro- Estudiantes-Avda. Tíncer-Rotonda Ctra. Gral. del Sur-Avda. de Taco-San José Obrero- Ctra. Gral. del Rosario-Taco): The bus service departing from El Tablero will now leave five minutes earlier, at 07:25 instead of 07:30. This change aims to help students reach IES Las Veredillas before classes begin.
