Santa Cruz de Tenerife will unveil its 2026 Carnival poster, dedicated to Latin Rhythms, on Friday, November 14, at 8:30 PM, followed by the season's first dance party featuring Dominican singer Manny Cruz.

The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, through its Fiestas department, will reveal the poster for the 2026 Carnival on Friday, November 14, starting at 8:30 PM. This event will be followed by what is considered the first dance party of the 2026 Carnival season. The five finalists of the popular competition to choose the festival's poster will be present when the winner is announced.

Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez is inviting everyone to this initial event for the 2026 Carnival. He stated, "Following the success of recent years, we've decided to repeat the way we present the poster. We're doing it with a simple event that captures the spirit of the upcoming Carnival, which will be dedicated to Latin Rhythms. So, I invite everyone to join us for this first taste of the 2026 Carnival."

Javier Caraballero, the Councilor for Fiestas, added, "We are once again organizing the first Carnival street party of 2026 to unveil the poster for the next edition." He hopes "carnival-goers will put on their best costumes to enjoy an unforgettable night."

The event, held near the Matriz Church of La Concepción, will begin with the unveiling of the 2026 Carnival poster. The winning artist will receive a prize of 12,000 euros. Afterward, the "Latin Rhythms" Carnival will kick off with a big party open to the public. It will feature Dominican merengue singer Manny Cruz, known for songs like "Imaginarme sin ti" and "Sabes enamorarme." He will be accompanied by an orchestra with soloists David Afonso and Jeannete La Cubanísima. The Orquesta Revelación will also perform iconic Carnival songs, getting all attendees dancing in a show that will last until midnight.

This festive event symbolically marks the start of the 2026 Carnival, which will officially begin on January 16 with its Inaugural Gala.
