The 15th edition of Tecnológica Santa Cruz has been postponed from March to May due to severe weather warnings associated with storm "Therese."

The upcoming storm "Therese" has forced the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife to postpone the 15th edition of Tecnológica Santa Cruz. Originally scheduled for March 19–22, the event has been moved to May 14–17 due to the severe wind and rain forecast for the coming days.

Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez and the Development Society made the decision as a safety precaution. While many events were planned for indoor venues like the Museum of Nature and Archaeology (MUNA) and TEA Tenerife, organizers decided to postpone the entire festival—including all presentations and thematic blocks—because some activities require outdoor spaces.

This is a rare disruption for the festival, which has only been cancelled once before, during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown.

The event will retain its original location and program for the new May dates. The Development Society will provide information on ticket refunds and registration transfers via the official event website in the coming days.
