Police in Santa Cruz de Tenerife have shut down a city centre drug dealing spot disguised as a private club, arresting three individuals and seizing a large quantity of drugs, including high-purity concentrates.

Police in Santa Cruz de Tenerife have shut down a drug dealing spot in the city centre. This operation highlights how drug groups continue to try and hide their illegal activities by pretending to be private clubs to get around the law. Police reported that they arrested three people and seized a large amount of drugs, including very pure types.

The investigation, which involved local police, focused on a building in a central part of Santa Cruz. Officers noticed a steady stream of people, many of them foreigners, going into the building to buy drugs. This led investigators to get a search warrant, as they believed the place was actually a drug dealing spot, despite pretending to be a private association.

During the raid, police seized 2,931 grams of marijuana and 814 grams of hashish. They also found many different cannabis concentrates and related products. These included 291 grams of 'ice hash' (a very pure concentrate), 110 grams of rosin, and 43 packages of hash rosin. Police also took 12 jars and 19 vaping devices for rosin, 10 marijuana vaporizers, and six pre-rolled joints. They found 36 jars of THC-infused syrup (300 milligrams each), six jars of edibles called 'dabtella,' and 630 euros in cash. The three arrested individuals have been handed over to the courts.
