In Santa Cruz, nightclubs and restaurants will be able to operate for longer hours on Halloween and Christmas by obtaining a special permit costing €131.20.

In Santa Cruz, nightclubs, discos, restaurants, and other entertainment venues will be able to operate longer on Halloween and Christmas. The City Council has allowed them to extend their operating hours on these holidays.

To obtain a permit, owners need to apply online through the municipality's website. The procedure is promised to be simple and quick. The cost of such a permit is €131.20 per establishment, regardless of the number of days the extension is needed for.

According to councilwoman Zaida González, each establishment will be able to obtain a maximum of five such permits per year. But it is important to remember: longer hours are only allowed at night, not during the day.

So, until what time will establishments be able to operate:

  • Discos and nightclubs – until 7:30 AM;
  • Concert halls – until 6:30 AM;
  • Establishments with music and karaoke – until 5:00 AM;
  • Restaurants – until 3:30 AM.
