Santa Cruz de Tenerife has launched the third edition of its "Enjoy the Districts" initiative, featuring a series of neighborhood events and shopping campaigns designed to boost the local economy through December 6.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is launching the third edition of its "Enjoy the Districts" initiative to boost local shopping. Following the recent Plenilunio event in the city center, this new phase will run until December 6, with a variety of activities planned across four different districts.

Coordinated by the Development Society, the program kicks off in the Ofra-Costa Sur district. From now until November 13, the "We Reward Your Purchases" campaign offers customers who spend at least five euros at over 40 local shops a chance to win one of 30 vouchers worth 50 euros. On November 14, the Los Príncipes Shopping Center parking lot will host a day of entertainment, including a market, live music, workshops, and a radio broadcast.

On November 7, the focus shifts to the Anaga district in San Andrés. The Traditions Market will take over the area around Plaza Ramón Guillermo Cruz Cabrera and Avenida Pedro Schwartz, featuring local crafts, children’s workshops, and folk performances.

Next, on November 28, La Granja Park in the Salud-La Salle district will host a gastronomy and wine fair. Running from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., the event will feature roughly twenty exhibitors showcasing wines with the Tenerife Denomination of Origin.

The program concludes in the Southwest district with the "Bocadillazo Route," running from November 12 to December 6. Thirty local businesses will offer sandwiches, arepas, and hamburgers for four euros each, with a rewards system in place for customers.

These events are part of a broader effort by the Santa Cruz City Council to help small businesses compete with large digital retailers and supermarkets. By encouraging residents to shop and socialize in their own neighborhoods, the city hopes to provide a boost to the local economy while strengthening community ties.
