Santa Cruz de Tenerife will host its third annual children's "Happy Not End of Year" event this Sunday, December 28. This festive Christmas celebration for kids will take place in La Candelaria square from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Thanks to this special event, children in Santa Cruz will be the first in the Canary Islands to symbolically say goodbye to 2025.

The morning is designed for family fun, allowing children to celebrate the New Year's arrival a little early, at a time that suits them. There will be a wide range of free activities for everyone, blending entertainment, creativity, and play in a lively, interactive setting. The aim is to encourage families to enjoy the city center's public spaces together.

Activities planned include Christmas bouncy castles, kids' decoration workshops, making letters for the Three Kings and royal crowns, and face painting. A major highlight will be three children's photo booths featuring Disney characters, where families can get free souvenir pictures.

Throughout the morning, 2,000 grape-shaped sweets (a nod to the traditional New Year's grapes) and 2,000 party favors will be handed out, offering a symbolic and fun way for kids to welcome the new year. The stage program will feature performances such as "Cantar y contar" (Sing and Tell), in a special New Year's Eve edition, and Zumba Kids, ensuring children stay engaged and entertained all morning.
