ONCE awarded a second-category Eurojackpot prize of €430,292.40 to a ticket sold in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
ONCE, the Spanish National Organization of the Blind, recently awarded a large prize through its Eurojackpot lottery. A ticket sold in Santa Cruz de Tenerife won €430,292.40 by matching five numbers and one 'sun' ball, securing a second-category prize.
The winning ticket was sold by Yiraima Jeanette Afonso Perdomo, an ONCE vendor, at her sales point on Bethencourt Alfonso street in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The draw took place on Friday, February 27.
Eurojackpot is a popular lottery played across Europe, sold in Spain and 18 other countries in the European economic area. To play, participants choose five numbers from 1 to 50, plus two 'sun' numbers from 1 to 12. Draws happen twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, from Helsinki. The lottery guarantees a minimum jackpot of €10 million, which increases if no one wins the top prize. Besides Spain, ONCE helps sell Eurojackpot tickets in countries like Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy, Finland, Croatia, Slovenia, Norway, Lithuania, Latvia, Denmark, Iceland, Estonia, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Greece.
ONCE operates its lotteries, including Eurojackpot, with a focus on responsible and supportive gaming. Its products have strict rules to prevent excessive gambling, banning sales to minors and credit betting. The organization is deeply committed to the public, following the highest evaluation and monitoring standards set by the World Lottery Association and the European Lotteries Association. You can buy ONCE tickets and coupons from its 21,000 vendors, on its website www.juegosonce.es, and at other authorized locations.
The next Eurojackpot draw, on Tuesday, March 3, will have a jackpot of €10 million.
