Santa Cruz de Tenerife to Host Michael Jackson Tribute Event on December 19

Santa Cruz de Tenerife will celebrate the enduring legacy of Michael Jackson with a special cultural event on December 19th. Held at the Círculo de Amistad XII de Enero, the day aims to connect generations through the singer's iconic music and dance.

The event is divided into two main parts. Starting at 4:30 p.m., the "Mini Jackson Canario" contest invites children aged five to 12 to showcase their dance skills. Organizers Manzana50proyectos and BlousMusic designed the competition to encourage discipline, physical expression, and teamwork. Registration is currently in its final phase, with a dozen children already signed up to compete.

At 7:00 p.m., the focus shifts to "Michael Experience by Chicho," a one-hour theatrical performance. Rather than a standard documentary, this show uses live music and custom arrangements to tell the story of Jackson’s career, from his early days with The Jackson 5 to his rise as a global solo superstar. The production features audiovisual elements and narrative segments that highlight the artist's evolution over the years.
