Santa Cruz de Tenerife to Host 'Le Good Market' During Plenilunio Festival
Santa Cruz de Tenerife will host the "Le Good Market" at García Sanabria Park during the eighteenth annual Plenilunio festival next weekend to boost local commerce and community engagement.
Revitalizing public spaces has become a key strategy for boosting the social and commercial life of the Canary Islands' capital cities. As announced by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, García Sanabria Park will host the latest edition of Le Good Market as part of the eighteenth annual Plenilunio festival.
The event takes place next weekend and will span the park’s four main walkways and several interior areas. Visitors can browse 56 stalls featuring fashion, home decor, and accessories, alongside a variety of workshops and activities for children. The market will be open on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to midnight, and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
City officials hope the event will encourage residents to visit the city center and support local businesses. Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez noted that these events are vital for bringing families together and showcasing the capital’s cultural and commercial appeal. Carmen Pérez, CEO of the Development Society, added that the program offers more than just shopping; it includes food, live performances, and music—all designed to revitalize the city and establish Santa Cruz as a premier destination for public leisure.
