Santa Cruz de Tenerife Opens Registration for 2026 Summer School Program
Santa Cruz de Tenerife has opened registration for its 2026 Summer Schools program, offering 900 spots for children aged 3 to 12 to support working families with flexible childcare and educational activities throughout July.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife is once again prioritizing work-life balance this summer. The city council has announced that registration for the 2026 Summer Schools opens on Monday, June 15. The program aims to support working families by offering 900 spots for children aged 3 to 12.
Running throughout July, the program will operate across 11 schools located in the city’s five districts. It offers more than just childcare, featuring a variety of sports, creative, and educational activities. To better suit family schedules, the program also includes flexible drop-off and pick-up times, as well as a breakfast service.
Applications are open until June 26. Families can register online via the city council’s website or in person at Citizen Attention Offices (OAIC) and district headquarters, where staff can provide the necessary documentation and guidance.
The Department of Social Policies has emphasized the importance of making the program accessible to everyone. This includes reserving spots for children with disabilities and tailoring resources to meet individual needs. By providing these services, the city aims to help families manage the challenges of childcare during the school holidays.
