Santa Cruz de Tenerife celebrates the tenth anniversary of its "Lavaderos Live Music" series this Saturday with a milestone 101st concert featuring local bands and DJs.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is celebrating a major milestone for its local arts scene this Saturday. The "Lavaderos Live Music" series, held at the venue near the Hotel Mencey, will host its 101st concert at 6:00 p.m., marking the end of its tenth successful season.

The project is a collaboration between the Centro-Ifara District Council and the Autonomous Agency for Culture, with support from private sponsors including Dorada Especial and Aguaria. Managed by Makaron Gestión y Proyectos Culturales, the series has become a staple of the city’s summer calendar, known for bringing a diverse range of musical genres to a historic local site.

To celebrate the season finale, the lineup features local bands Whiskería Lili, Mono Sapiens, and Escaldón de Golfos. To keep the energy high between sets, DJs Chary Lou and Toni LaCalle will provide music throughout the event.

Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez praised the series as a model for cultural management, noting how it has built a loyal audience over the past decade. District Councilor Purificación Dávila added that the event’s success—highlighted by the recent 100th-concert celebration—shows how deeply the initiative has become rooted in the neighborhood. She credited the public’s consistent support over the last ten years as the true measure of the series' impact on the island’s cultural life.
