Santa Cruz de Tenerife Launches Christmas Music Season with Grand Lighting Ceremony
Santa Cruz de Tenerife launches its Christmas festivities this Thursday with the lighting of decorations and a concert featuring Serafín Zubiri, Cristina Ramos, Jadel, and Diana Navarro, followed by a month of diverse musical events across the city.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife kicks off its Christmas music events this Thursday with the lighting of the decorations. The ceremony starts at 7:30 PM in La Candelaria square.
The opening night features a live performance by the Municipal Music Band, followed by a concert with singers Serafín Zubiri, Cristina Ramos, Jadel, and Diana Navarro. Emilia González will host the event.
After the opening, music will fill different parts of the city. Expect performances from Los Fregolinos, the Military Band, and various folk groups. There will also be a Disney show by Los Cantadores, a gospel concert, recitals, and family-friendly musical events.
La Candelaria square is set to be a main venue. On Sunday, December 21st, at 8:00 PM, the Municipal Music Band will join the Powerhouse Gospel Choir for a gospel concert there.
On Friday, December 27th, Los Cantadores will present their Disney concert in La Candelaria square at 8:30 PM. Admission is free.
Music is also part of other festive events. The Gastro Navidad Market Fest, running from December 13th to January 6th, will have its own concert lineup alongside food stalls.
The Christmas Market, located in the Alameda del Duque de Santa Elena from December 19th to January 6th, will also host musical activities.
The cultural program includes concerts for families, recitals, and other stage shows. Additionally, folk music groups and carolers will perform in the city's five districts to add to the festive atmosphere.
