The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival launches its highly anticipated street parties this Friday, February 13th, featuring diverse music across three main stages and enhanced public transport.

The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival is set to begin its street parties this Friday, February 13th, according to local newspaper Diario de Avisos. This marks a major highlight in the celebrations, following the opening 'Announcing Parade'. Tenerife's capital will transform into a huge party zone, with music spread across three main locations, playing until the early hours of the morning.

Plaza de la Candelaria, with its Dormitorum Stage, will be a main hub for big orchestras. Performances there start at midnight, featuring groups like Orquesta Sabrosa, Orquesta Maracaibo, and Orquesta Guayaba, playing at different times to keep the party going.

Meanwhile, Plaza del Príncipe will offer a more traditional vibe, with music kicking off at 11:00 PM. Here, you can enjoy Orquesta Gomera, Orquesta Acapulco, and Orquesta Arguayo Band, performing one after another.

For something different, the capital's coastal area will host the Reggae Carnival. The lineup starts at 10:00 PM, featuring artists like Dadda Wanche, Lava Sound, Isaiah, Ruts & La Isla Music, Don Virgilio, Abel Cordovez, and Stereoman, offering different reggae rhythms for attendees.

To ensure everyone's safety and easy travel, tram and bus services will be increased throughout the night. Authorities advise arriving early at the stages, as a large crowd is expected for the official start of the outdoor parties. This huge music setup highlights what the Santa Cruz Carnival is all about. It's famous for its lively Latin rhythms, which are truly the heart of its street parties.
