Santa Cruz de Tenerife has implemented extensive security measures for Carnival Monday, including a temporary "Carnival Hospital" and an Advanced Command Post, alongside practical safety tips and emergency contacts, to ensure public safety and enjoyment.

Security for Carnival Monday in Santa Cruz de Tenerife is carefully planned with a large team on duty. This is to make sure everyone stays safe on one of the busiest nights, and to be ready for any problems that might come up.

A key part of this plan is the main medical center, called the "Carnival Hospital." It's set up in Plaza de España, close to the Government Presidency building. The Red Cross and the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) run this temporary hospital. It has special medical facilities for things like resuscitation, observation, and rest. It's the go-to place for any medical emergency during the festival.

At the same time, all security teams are managed from the Advanced Command Post (PMA). This is right next to the "Carnival Hospital" in the Marina area. This center is vital for a quick and coordinated response to any incident.

If you lose something or it gets stolen, there's a clear process to follow. You should speak to an officer from the National Police or the Local Police. If something is stolen, you must report it officially. For lost items, contact the Local Police's Lost and Found Office.

For a fast response, it's a good idea to have these emergency numbers ready: 112 for all emergencies, 091 for the National Police, and 092 for the Local Police.

Besides these plans and facilities, authorities also have some practical tips for everyone attending. These include staying hydrated, wearing comfortable shoes, using public transport, agreeing on meeting points with friends, staying with your group, and not carrying valuable items. If you find yourself in a very crowded area, try to move towards the edges of squares and look for uniformed Civil Protection or Police staff if you need help.

All these measures are in place to make sure the Carnival is as safe as possible, so everyone can enjoy the celebrations to the fullest.
