Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival 2026 contest ticket sales were paused due to a technical website issue, restarting Thursday at 10 AM, with gala sales postponed until Friday; previously purchased tickets remain valid.

The City Council has announced that ticket sales for the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival 2026 contests, which were set to begin this Wednesday at 9:00 AM, have been temporarily paused. This is due to a technical problem with the sales website, an issue with the service provider, not the City Council itself.

This decision was made to ensure everyone has a fair chance to buy tickets and to prevent anyone from being at a disadvantage because of the system's fault.

Ticket sales for the contests will restart tomorrow, January 22, at 10:00 AM, using the same website, once the problem is fixed. However, sales for the Carnival galas, which were also planned for tomorrow, are now postponed until Friday, January 23, at 9:00 AM.

The City Council apologizes for any inconvenience this has caused and will investigate the issue to prevent it from happening again.

Any tickets already successfully bought during this initial sale are still valid.
