
Santa Cruz Carnival 2026 Poster Voting Opens
Public voting has begun for the poster representing the 2026 Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival, themed "Latin Rhythms," with the winner receiving €12,000.
The Santa Cruz City Council has kicked off public voting for the poster that will represent the 2026 Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival, which will celebrate Latin Rhythms. Voting opened today, Monday, October 20, at 8:00 p.m.
You can now view the five finalist posters, chosen from 62 entries, on carnavaldetenerife.com. Vote for your favorite before 11:59 p.m. on October 30. The poster with the most votes will become the official image of the 2026 Carnival, and its creator will win €12,000. Each of the five finalists has already received €1,000.
A jury of experts pre-selected the five finalists. The jury included:
- Alejandro Tosco, a visual artist
- Patricia Delgado, a graphic artist
- Patricia Hodgson, a Fine Arts graduate and teacher
- Alexis Santana, designer of the 2025 Carnival Queen's costume
- Leo Martínez, a fashion and stage costume designer
- Daniel Pages, graphic designer and artistic director of the 2026 Carnival
- Paula Álvarez, a marketing and communication professional and artistic director of the 2026 Carnival
- Yeray Piñero, a performing arts producer and artistic director of the 2026 Carnival
Santa Cruz Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez noted that the winning poster will join a collection of art created by renowned artists like Manrique, Mariscal, Fierro, Cuixart, Dámaso, and Nazco.
Javier Caraballero, the Councilor for Festivals, encourages everyone to vote. He says this process supports the image of an internationally recognized festival and showcases the talent and creativity of Canarian artists.
