Construction of the Santa Ana urban elevator, funded by European Next Generation-EU funds and costing over 300,000 euros, is nearing completion by early March with added improvements for accessibility and urban integration.

Construction on the Santa Ana urban elevator, which began last August, is now well underway. Although the project has faced some delays, it is expected to be finished by the end of February or early March.

During this final phase, some extra improvements will be added that were not part of the original plan. Specifically, the entrance area to the elevator and its connection to El Marrubial street will be updated. This aims to improve accessibility and help the elevator blend better with the surrounding urban environment.

Additionally, on Los Príncipes street, a planter and a bench will be installed for people waiting for the elevator. This is intended to make the public space more comfortable and practical.

The project has a total budget of 307,695.81 euros and is funded by European Next Generation-EU funds.
