San Cristóbal de La Laguna hosts the "SanBetinto" wine festival this Thursday, June 25, featuring ten local wineries, regional gastronomy, and live cultural performances in the Plaza de La Concepción.

San Cristóbal de La Laguna will celebrate the latest edition of "SanBetinto" this Thursday, June 25. The event, a key part of the "Tacoronte-Acentejo Summer Extra" program, aims to connect local winemakers directly with consumers in the heart of the city.

The event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the Plaza de La Concepción. Supported by the Department of Rural Development and the Tacoronte-Acentejo Regulatory Council, the gathering is designed to boost local wine sales and showcase the 2026 vintage while highlighting the city’s cultural heritage.

Ten local wineries will be participating: Mallar de los Trazos, Viña El Drago, Tierra Fundida, Cráter, Trancao de Acentejo, Guayonge, Viña Estévez, Linaje del Pago, Hacienda de Acentejo, and El Cercado. Visitors can also enjoy food from local vendors, including Baggerman El Holandés, Cooperativa La Candelaria, La Cencerra, Charcutería Víveres Jacinto, and Las Croquetas de la Oliva.

In addition to the wine and food, the evening will feature live entertainment. Storyteller Jesús Bayón will share tales of wine culture, and illustrator Víctor Jaubert will create artwork live on-site. A selection of national music will provide the soundtrack for the evening, celebrating the region's winemaking identity in the center of the city.
