San Cristóbal de La Laguna is once again cementing its status as the hub for combat sports in the Canary Islands this weekend with the eleventh edition of "Fight 2 One." The event, officially presented at City Hall, will be held at the Santiago Martín pavilion. Badel Albelo, president of the Autonomous Sports Organization (OAD), noted that the event is a vital boost for local sports, highlighting the discipline's growing ability to draw large crowds to the municipality.

Promoter Moisés Ruiz emphasized that the support of the City Council is essential for hosting a competition of this scale. With tickets nearing a sell-out, the event will feature 19 bouts across various disciplines, including mixed martial arts (MMA), Muay Thai, and K1 Rules.

The highlight of the evening is the contention for three world titles. Local fighter Nauzet Trujillo will face Hadji Ndow, while the main event at 10:00 PM will feature a featherweight title fight between Argentina’s Lucas Codutti and Zambia’s Ken Sekeletu. Other notable matchups include Darwin Rodríguez versus Thiago Jambo and Mohamed Echchad against Mauro Galán.

The action begins at 4:00 PM with an opening bout between Efraín Reyes and Ismael Fernández. The participation of internationally recognized athletes and the high level of preparation involved underscore the event's commitment to raising the standard of combat sports in the Canary Islands, blending institutional support with a rapidly growing sports industry.
