San Cristóbal de La Laguna Announces Traffic Restrictions for ‘Reconectados’ Filming
San Cristóbal de La Laguna will implement temporary traffic and parking restrictions throughout September to accommodate filming for the production "Reconectados."
Filming for the production ‘Reconectados’ will bring increased activity to San Cristóbal de La Laguna this September, prompting the City Council to introduce a temporary traffic and parking plan. To accommodate the film crew’s technical vehicles, parking and traffic flow will be restricted on three separate days.
The filming schedule is as follows:
- Friday, September 11: Parking will be restricted on Avenida Tabares Bartlet (at number 2) from 1:00 PM to midnight, and on Calle Quintín Benito until 1:00 AM, where 30 meters of space will be reserved for seven vehicles. During this time, there will be intermittent road and pedestrian closures, with detours provided on nearby streets.
- Wednesday, September 16: Near the Museum of Science and the Cosmos, 25 meters of space will be reserved on Calle Vía Láctea for six vehicles. A traffic exclusion zone will be in place at the end of the street from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
- Monday, September 21: On Calle Volcán Estrómboli, 30 meters of space will be cordoned off for seven production vehicles between 6:00 PM and 2:00 AM.
These disruptions are part of the city’s efforts to support the local audiovisual sector while managing the logistics of filming in a historic area. The City Council notes that these plans may be adjusted if necessary to ensure public safety or to meet the specific requirements of the production team.
