Ruslana and Lewis Potter Join Lineup for Summer Pop Tenerife Festival
Ruslana and Lewis Potter have joined the lineup for the Summer Pop Tenerife festival, which takes place on September 13 at the Tenerife Trade Fair Center to showcase a blend of national and local talent.
The music scene in the Canary Islands is evolving, with a new focus on highlighting both national and local talent. Organizers of Summer Pop Tenerife have announced that Ruslana and Lewis Potter will join the lineup for the festival, which takes place on September 13 at the Tenerife Trade Fair Center. Their addition reflects a shift in the pop scene toward more modern, electronic sounds.
Ruslana, known for her recent television success and popular national tour, will bring her new project, Catarsis, to the stage. She will be joined by Gran Canaria’s own Lewis Potter, whose unique blend of British and local influences has already gained significant popularity online.
These artists are part of a larger program featuring 20 live acts, including previously announced performers Álvaro de Luna and Leire Martínez. The festival, managed by Encaro Factory, aims to be more than just a concert; it is also a driver for the local economy. Organizers estimate that the event will create over 100 direct and indirect jobs, highlighting the growing professionalization of the island's large-scale events industry.
The festival begins at 4:00 p.m. and is supported by the Government of the Canary Islands, Canary Islands Tourism, and Los40. Tickets are available through Encaro Factory and Tomaticket. Organizers recommend booking early due to high expected demand. With this lineup, the festival aims to establish Tenerife as a key destination on the national touring circuit, showcasing both established stars and the rising voices of modern urban music.
