
"Ronin" Wins Top Prize at "Rodando con Historia" Film Competition
Luis A. Martín's short film "Ronin" won the top prize at the "Rodando con Historia" competition, concluding the V Historical Novel Festival "Ciudad de Tacoronte," with judges commending its narrative precision and historical accuracy.
The short film "Ronin," directed by Luis A. Martín, took home the top prize at the third "Rodando con Historia" competition. The awards ceremony marked the end of the V Historical Novel Festival "Ciudad de Tacoronte," which ran from November 7th to 16th. The judges praised "Ronin" for its "narrative precision and historical accuracy."
In addition to the 500 euro prize, "Ronin" also won best costume design, with awards accepted by María Bravo and Luis A. Martín.
Berty Lucio was recognized with the new award for best direction for his film "Once." Nimue Moon's "Enso" was honored with both the best screenplay award and the audience award. William D’ Almeida received the best performance award for his role in "La piedra." "Aiko, hija del amor" earned awards for best editing, presented to Francisco Ibrahim Meza, and best art direction, given to María Ester Fernández Briones, who also directed the film. Finally, Vidal Ramos won best cinematography for "Legado."
