The "Menceyes & Experiences" tournament in Tenerife brought together golfers from all over Europe.
The three-day golf tournament "Menceyes & Experiences: Golf & Fun" took place in Tenerife, bringing together 70 players from Europe and promoting connections between Belgium and the Canary Islands.
A cool tournament "Menceyes & Experiences: Golf & Fun" took place in Tenerife! For three whole days, 70 golfers from all over Europe competed on the Golf Los Palos, Golf del Sur, Golf Costa Adeje and Abama Golf courses. Most came not only to play, but also to relax and taste local delicacies.
It started on the Golf del Sur course on Wednesday morning. The strong wind made the game a real challenge! On Thursday, the competition continued at Golf Costa Adeje, and it all ended on Friday at Abama Golf.
Unfortunately, no one was able to make a hole-in-one and win a Tag Heuer watch from Ideal Joyeros, although the moments were very tense!
In the first category, Roberto Gimeno and Guillermo Cabrera won with a score of 156. Second place went to Michel Prudhomme and Yves De Belfroid (155), and third place went to Alan Sierra Ebbott and Pedro Enrique Campelo Rodriguez (151).
In the second category, Anastasia Shevchenko and Stefan Llopis became the best (137 points). Second place went to Xavier Brutin and Helmut Deloof (131), and third place went to Julian Roberto Garcia Sancho and Tomas Elias Delgado Davida (130).
The winners received prizes: sports equipment, fashion items, travel, green fees, accommodation and even sports medicine sessions. The longest drive and nearest to the pin were also awarded. And there was also a funny special prize for the worst result – a golf lesson! Everyone laughed and applauded.
This tournament was the final of the international stage, which took place in Belgium on three famous golf courses. In total, more than 300 people took part in these tournaments. This helped to show Tenerife as a cool place for golf lovers.
The organizers say that "Menceyes & Experiences" aims to strengthen ties between Belgium and the Canary Islands, especially with Tenerife, where it is great to develop business and just live.
Thanks to the tournaments in Belgium, it was possible to find people who are interested not only in golf, but also in the opportunities that Tenerife offers: quality of life, security, connections with the whole world and favorable taxes.
In addition to golf, the participants relaxed, went shopping, met with partners and tasted local cuisine from Mesón Castellano, Goxoa, El Empaquetado and others. All this created a wonderful atmosphere for communication, investment and cooperation.
