The Reggae Can Festival returns to Punta del Hidalgo, Tenerife on November 7th and 8th with headliners Green Valley and Prince Fatty & Horseman, offering free concerts, workshops, and cultural activities.

The Reggae Can Festival is back for its 11th year! On November 7th and 8th, head to the promenade of Punta del Hidalgo in La Laguna for "Two Days, One Love."

The festival is returning to where it all began, with a brand new stage that highlights its local roots, international appeal, and dedication to sustainability, equality, and community spirit.

For two days, this spot will become the reggae heart of the Canary Islands. Expect free entry, awesome concerts, workshops, cultural activities, and family-friendly fun, all in a welcoming and conscious atmosphere.

The first artists announced include Green Valley and the British duo Prince Fatty & Horseman – two big names in reggae who are sure to bring the energy to Tenerife.

Green Valley, fronted by Ander Valverde, is a leading Spanish reggae band. With over 20 years in the game, they've stayed true to themselves with meaningful lyrics, positive vibes, and a real connection with their fans. Valverde says their evolution has been natural: "We're sensitive people, in tune with life and emotions. We know each other better and better, and we have an amazing team. Maybe that's the secret to our staying power."

Valverde believes the best concerts aren't about big stages or huge crowds. "Sometimes everything just clicks, and magic happens. It could be in a small room, but you can feel something special in the air." He adds, "When you're comfortable and things are flowing, you look at your bandmates and see them feeling the same. It creates an incredible energy that's hard to describe."

When it comes to reggae's social message, Valverde thinks it's all about balancing criticism with optimism: "We approach it with love, trying to see the bigger picture."

He's happy to see reggae growing in Spain but says they don't focus too much on Green Valley's role in that: "We just try to do our best and enjoy the ride."

The band is currently working on a new album, due out next spring, which promises to continue spreading their message of hope, awareness, and unity.

The Reggae Can Festival is supported by Islas Canarias Latitud de Vida and the Canary Islands Institute for Cultural Development, part of the Regional Government, along with the La Laguna City Council, through the Department of Festivities and the Autonomous Body of Musical Activities.
